Hi everyone Due to my b8 rs4 not having standard calipers fitted, and not realising this, ( have the Akebono caliper not the Brembo ),I have a pair of 380mm EBC 2 piece floating front discs that are not compatiable. The right hand disc box has been opened, fitted, then taken off and put back in box ...

Hi @Neilb76 had something similar, sat on A1 in roadworks near Leeds, and noticed gear change from 2nd to 3rd was getting very lumpy. Then for no reason, it cut out. Put into neutral and took 2 attemps to restart. Had no warning lights on dash, can only guess the gearbox was getting hot and threw it...

No PROPER offers?

I have recently changed my rear discs and kept the old one. These still have a bit of life in them so thought about selling. Few pics, have been cleaned as best I could, are approx 22 - 23mm in thickness. Looking for about £300 incl postage.

It does help thanks, the lad fitting them for me looked into it aswell, said same thing, 375mm is want I should have!!

Afternoon all Have bought EBC 2 piece floating front discs with yellow pads to go on, bht EBC dont do the same discs for the rears. Am goon put yellowpads on rear, but was wondering what peolpe have, or would recommend for the rear. May go down the Reyland standard rears, but was just curious. Thanks

Just renewed insurance through go compare, and got price down from £970ish to £516. The drivescore app couldn't do any better, nor could my insurance company. Gone from Swinton to Aviva

@bmostert got my nephew to order me some EBC 2 piece floating disc's, 380mm, and EBC yellowstuff pads. Just need to collect them and fit, bought B8 disc's and B9 pads due to the different caliper fitted.

Fingers crossed they fit!!

Aren't the ceramic options even bigger than standard disc's?

I downloaded an app called Drivescore, put details in etc and it monitors your driving. Also has the option to do insurance quotes on this app, did it last year and knocked a fair bit off. Will be doing the same again at end of Feb.
