Re: Remote control
Buy the shell and swap the internals. Easy, that's what I did. There are videos on YouTube. Ten minutes and done.

Re: Need a replacement ABS module
Gentlemen, take this with a grain of salt and maybe even some humor, but let me tell you how I fixed my "ABS issue" right before I was about to ship out the entire unit for repairs. I was getting a random/reoccurring G200 error (yaw sensor), even after replacing that sensor twice with a new one. I c...

Re: Second Gen RNSE (MKII) with C5 4B A6 faceplate
Sale fell through: buyer did provide a deposit but then disappeared. I am including new pics with the RNSE unit and current date to dispel any doubts. I would also like to mention that I have this same unit for sale on eBay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/127201340193 If you are interested but prefer some...

Re: Looking at buying a 2003 RS6 - a couple questions
What I also think plays a significant factor in the RS6 cambelt replacement equation is the absurd amount of heat generated in this engine. It only stands to reason that the replacement interval would be shorter than most other vehicles due to the volcanic engine operating temperature degrading rubb...

Upper O2 sensors removal
Thinking about RS6 C5 (4B) upper O2 sensor (S1) replacement. Luckily the ones on my car were done less than 20K miles ago so I suspect they will last for a while. But, in light of some testimonials I have come across it just strikes me as odd that a whole engine drop is required for this service. Ye...

Second Gen RNSE (MKII) with C5 4B A6 faceplate - SOLD
RNSE unit with C5 4B A6 (S6, RS6, allroad) faceplate, in outstanding condition. All functions are working perfectly, from the screen to the CD/DVD drive and everything in between. As you can see in the pics, it's hard to find even a light scratch anywhere on this unit. The screen is immaculate. The ...

Re: Rear brake discs
Is it true R8 front rotors are fully compatible with our cars? If so, probably that wouldn't be a cheaper solution but at least would open up a new source path.

Re: Can’t source a radiator!
Maybe I am late to the conversation or maybe (quite likely) I haven't digested the whole multi-page thread but... every time in the past I've had the need for a unique radiator I have always found an outfit that makes custom radiators and sent them the original to duplicate. Here in the USA, for ins...

Got it. The badge just needs to sit a bit lower and a touch more to the side. I'll relocate it today!

Re: USA-spec RS6 Avant 6-speed manual conversion
Hmm... I'll find some pics so that I can determine the exact front badge factory positioning and I'll relocate to where it needs to be.

Re: USA-spec RS6 Avant 6-speed manual conversion
Thank you for the warm welcome. Yes, I need to address the front badge: the one currently installed isn't cutting it! Anyone out there who has a spare *correct* badge and is willing to ship?

USA-spec RS6 Avant 6-speed manual conversion
Gentlemen (and Ladies), take it all with a grain of salt and a bit of humor. Also, keep in mind that the RS6 C5 Avant was never imported in the USA, so I hope you can sympathize with the excitement embedded in this effort. This being a community of enthusiasts, I imagine you will enjoy seeing how th...
