Re: Gliptone

I did mine about 6 months ago and I can still smell it! It's certainly an acquired fragrance. I used it in my daily then got deja vu thinking I was driving the Audi when I got a whiff of it.

Re: Battery Change

Swapped mine out for a Varta battery a few months ago and had no issues. Highly recommend. https://www.tayna.co.uk/car-batteries/varta/i1/ However, mine had no head unit in when I replaced the battery. Purchased a second hand RNS-E after replacing the battery and had to input the code once on the fi...

Good luck with the sale, hope it finds a good home. If it doesn't sell, I'll buy the wing off you :thumb:

Re: 6 months ownership of 2003 RS6 summary.

Best shape and best colour :biggrin3: Agreed :rocker: Great work, the car looks amazing. Especially after the polishing and coating. It's come up looking like new. I recently replaced one of the rocker cover gaskets on mine as it was leaking onto the exhaust emitting white smoke from the engine bay...

Re: Sad day…

I had to replace the RNSE in the manual, code should be written on top. I never replaced the ABS module but did replace the faulty yaw sensor. I gave up on the car as to be honest the whole conversion was a bodge. Thanks Bilko! Yes, the code is on the top. Can I ask what you used to get the bluetoo...

Re: Sad day…

I've bought a couple of parts from them. ABS module & RNS-E from manual converted estate. Was this once yours? A little note on the providence of your 'new' parts: - It was an ABS fault that brought about the tank-slapper I had when putting it into Armaco, I'm pretty certain Bilko replaced the ABS ...

Nice work saving that. Makes it all the sweeter knowing it easily could have been broken for parts! Well done for sticking with it
Thanks Felix, appreciate it :D

Re: Copart RS6 Saloon Project

Hello! Looks like a nice little project you have there! What are your plans for the car? Do you plan on keeping it for the long term or are you just going to try and sell it on? :bash: I'm 51yrs and getting grumpy in my old age :fuck_you: and becoming annoyed at people I spend hours helping, only t...

Re: Copart RS6 Saloon Project

Awesome. Nice job, especially considering you hadn’t really done any of it before. I like the red wing. It says don’t feck me me. Cheers Ben. The red wing is also growing on me. If you can find a couple of other colours you could have the full RS6 Harlequin  Glad to see another has been rescue...

Copart RS6 Saloon Project

Hi All, It's been a couple of months since I purchased the crash damaged RS6 which, as of last week, passed its MOT with 0 advisories! :jump_clap: I thought I would share an update of the progress to date since purchasing as it may help others. The car is a 2003 Audi RS6 Saloon C5 in Mugello Blue wh...
