Hi there. I'm having the same problem.
Your indicator relay is broken and needs to be replaced.
I won't do it myself, because it looks like you need to open the dashboard.

Last Wednesday (maybe Tuesday, don't remember very well actually) I saw a gray RS6 on the motorway between Calais and Dunkerque, France. Know for sure it had British reg. Very nice car, although it was on the other side of the road and only saw a glimpse of it. Was the first time I saw one for real....
