Anyone have additional solutions for refurbishing the B7 RS4 shift knob cap?
Hammerite Smooth silver looks like an option, but not completely convinced its the best way.
Would love to hear from other people on this?

Re: RS4 B7 Koni Shocks from CRS Performance
Absolute beauty! Thanks for the kind words. I am actually considering removing it all and going with coilovers. If anyone is interested in purchasing my setup, it will be for sale soon. Oh really, how come? Decided I'd like to be able to adjust the heights for my setup and I opted this direction as...

Re: RS4 B7 Koni Shocks from CRS Performance
Personally the rear is too low, we're first going to try adding KW spring spacers (shims). As the rear needs to come up at least 10-15mm.

Re: RS4 B7 Koni Shocks from CRS Performance
Opted for the H&R lowering springs. Although concerned it may be a tad too low in the rear.
Considering switching to KW HAS springs to allow me to set the perfect ride height.

Re: RS4 B7 Koni Shocks from CRS Performance
Awesome mate, good to see another one over here in Australia. I am guessing you got the shocks sent to you from Shocker Boy in the UK? Thanks, and yes rather excited to see how these do. I ordered them from Steve at CRS. The H&R springs I sourced from TunerShop. Should be all wrapped up by midweek ...

Re: RS4 B7 Koni Shocks from CRS Performance
Roger that and appreciated.
My current DRC's are leaking and suspect they are more or less knackered.
Koni's and H&R setup going in tomorrow. Any other bushes or mounts others would suggest replacing whilst the work is being done?
Will post pictures after install.

Re: Seat upholstery
Look all a big soggy and saggy. Not tight and fitted like OEM.
How does the material compare to the OEM leather?

Re: RS4 B7 Koni Shocks from CRS Performance
The ride is similar, but there's one area where it's noticeably worse - expansion joints. More of a thump both felt and heard. The front is better tied down so it's a worthwhile tradeoff, but it isn't as good or better in absolutely all areas. Similar to S or non S mode? Keeping in mind the ride is...

Re: RS4 B7 Koni Shocks from CRS Performance
Hey Matey,
Thanks so much for getting back to me.
Can you confirm if the ride is similar to the DRC when 'S' mode is on or off?
I find in 'S' mode its rather harsh.
Hoping the H&R ride is similar in non 'S' mode if that all makes sense?
Cheers,
Trent
