You should be able to get a service plan quote online at https://www.audi.co.uk/uk/web/en/owners ... plans.html. The plans are discounted until Dec 8th. I had my car changed to fixed-interval servicing so that it gets an oil change very year.

Re: RS4 B9 Maintenance - What to expect?
Having just used the two services in my service plan, I've been going through the same process myself. It's not easy. I did come across a page on the Audi UK website for fixed-price servicing for cars 3+ years old. Enter your car's registration and it shows local dealer pricing for an oil change or ...

Re: Brake fluid change frequency
Thanks for the replies. I must admit I didn't know the formulation of brake fluid had changed. I'll get it replaced.

Brake fluid change frequency
I just booked my B9.5 in at my local Audi dealer for an oil change/inspection service - the car's two years old and has done 10,000 miles. The following day I received an email from them entitled 'It’s time to change your brake fluid'. I was curious to know what others thought was a sensible frequen...

Re: Sports differential fault please contact workshop
@Jools, I've setup my OBDeleven. When you refer above to a pre and post scan, do you just mean running a 'full scan' before and after starting the car or are you referring to capturing the live data for a specific control module?

Re: Sports differential fault please contact workshop
When the ghost warning messages appear, the car starts and drives fine (with the last warning message continuing to be displayed). In practice, what I normally to do is turn off the ignition, wait a few seconds, turn it on again and the car invariably starts OK with no messages. As it happens, I did...

Re: Sports differential fault please contact workshop
Interesting discussion. When I bought by B9.5 last year, it already had a MetaTrak tracker fitted. A few months ago, I had the tracker upgraded with an immobiliser and, since then, I occasionally get two or three warning messages popup when I turn on the ignition. It only happens once in around twen...

Re: Car insurance hike
Thanks for all the replies. I got quotes from several other insurers (including Audi) but LV still worked out the least expensive. When I spoke to LV - as with Jools' experience - they declined to dicuss the reasons for indiviual policy increases but did offer to reduce my renewal premium by £40. In...

Car insurance hike
I received my car insurance renewal this morning. I was braced for a fairly hefty rise but wasn't quite prepared for the 78% increase that LV quoted me to renew. Same RS4, same address, full NCB and I've never made a claim. Staggering. Has anybody else faced a steep rise in their renewal premium rec...

Re: Hello
I realised after posting that the ‘ok’ you press is the turn wheel/button on the left of the steering wheel. Hopefully that is what you are trying? I reset my short term mpg no problem Thanks for the replies. Having now observed the flaps, I can see (and hear) them open when I choose 'dynamic' in d...

Hello
Hi. Just joined the forum having traded in an M3 for a year-old RS4 in Mythos Black. Really enjoying the car - it feels just as quick as the BMW but a lot more refined. I'm sure the four-wheel drive will be welcome in the wet, too. Options on the car included the comfort/sound pack and sports exhaus...
