The right hand cover is pretty easy to do. ( looking from the front of the car)

The left hand one is much harder, there is the water pipe to contend with plus the shape of the cover over the chain tensioner makes it a right pita to get off.

Not impossible, but takes some work.

I think you'll run into clearance problems between the top of the manifold and the inlet plenum, it sits pretty tightly together. Probably why they routed it as they did.
Unless you route it completely away from the manifold, but might look quite messy?

I think there are a couple guys on here who live in europe who you can get it posted to who will then forward it in to you, unless you have some friends living over there.

Is that fitting as standard or with a spacer behind it?

Are you able to share the cost with us of the parts bought for this?

Prob best seeing if one is being broken, and then try and get the parts yourself, can photograph where the bits go, and not break bits....
Have you checked the likes of Audi tradition?

Have you had a look at the parts diagrams? They normally are my first go to for lay outs and locations of parts. Normally can get a pretty decent idea of what's going on

Thanks for posting that, I have a feeling I didn't do the moving with the engine off....

Just realised I never closed this off, the system took a couple days to fully bleed itsself out and not have loads of tiny bubbles in the reservoir.

But is all working perfectly now, no noise, smooth action as it all should be.

Good effort persevering and getting it out! I was seriously questioning my life choices while I was doing mine!

Nice to see another one back on the road again!
Mine has decided 6 of being road legal and fully working was more than enough, got a massive vac leak..
