Re: Has anyone had any luck sourcing Micheline PS4s?
Prices have definitely gone up, Asda currently have them available fully fitted for £357 each, that's £80 more than they were the last time I bought two from them a year ago!

Re: £14k Rear Diff Failure Warranty Issue
Yes, and for a good price, better than I would have got trading the car in full working order.stuartbarriskell wrote:Did they buy the car back Andy ?

Re: Has anyone had any luck sourcing Micheline PS4s?
Looks like very few have these at the moment. I paid £285 per tyre fitted with Asda in March last year, it looks like they've gone up a lot!

Re: £14k Rear Diff Failure Warranty Issue
So this has been resolved now I'm pleased to say. I had been working with the original selling independent dealer throughout, who were always engaged with the issue. We ended up agreeing on what I regard as a good price for the car based on it being in good working order and the dealer came and coll...

Re: Has anyone had any luck sourcing Micheline PS4s?
Great tyres, I always find them cheapest from Asda Tyres and select my preferred local tyres fitters to fit them through their site.
My local fitters said they couldn't even buy them for what I paid last time!

Re: £14k Rear Diff Failure Warranty Issue
Hi all, so update is: My local dealer has had it confirmed from Audi UK that their relatively new diagnostic software that operates behind the scenes whenever the car is connected to their diagnostics system picked up that the car was actually TD1 back in May 2021. This was the first time I took the...

Re: £14k Rear Diff Failure Warranty Issue
An Audi Extended Warranty was put on the car by previous dealer, not an Audi dealer. He says they do their usual diagnostics check and nothing was flagged. I also spoke to Newcastle Audi who maintained the car for the first three years and had no record of any warranty key reports. It appears this w...

Re: Rear Diff Failure Warranty Issue
An update: It hasn't flagged a TD1 warranty key, but a TXD warranty key, which has exactly the same descriptor 'vehicle check code' software in the ECM has changed. Does anyone know the difference, I can't find anything about TXD on the Web? The dealer is clueless, just insisting it's chip tuned wit...

Re: Rear Diff Failure Warranty Issue
I bought the car from a performance car dealer back in May 2020 with a 12 month Audi warranty. It has been maticulously maintained and serviced by my local dealer ever since with no issues flagged. The dealer confirmed that the diagnostics tool automatically flags any ECU map issues when connected a...

£14k Rear Diff Failure Warranty Issue
RS6 Performance 2017 - 48k miles So I had my diff serviced by my local Audi dealer and 2 months later it starts making a whining noise. Took it in and asked them to look at it as part of the inspection service and oil strainer recall that was due. Refused to test drive it as they found a nail in the...
