Sounds similar to the issues I was having. Although I have RNS-D. There were about 7 wires terminated in one bullet looking crimp if I recall, passenger side uk car along the transmission tunnel. If you dont get plagued with seized and or snapping bolts etc I'd say 10hours is fair. Maybe quicker in a proper shop on a ramp. Engine out would really be an absolute last resort for me.
