Re: Rear Parcel Shelf for C5 Avant
Hello! No a C6 rear luggage compartment blind has different attachment points to the C5, so will not fit. These C5 rear blinds for luggage compartment come in at least 5 colours, so it would be good to identify which part number you need. There are plenty for sale in the UK, but it depends where you...

Re: Drivers Wing Mirror Glass - Part No query
These mirrors are the same part numbers as are fitted to the D2 S8's. I've tried to maintain mine that were fitted in the factory (in 2002) but am at the point of giving up. The basic problem I think is that none of these have been made in a very long time and I THINK the chemicals in them just deg...

Re: Drivers Wing Mirror Glass - Part No query
Hey Steven Just to satisfy your curiosity (and mine) here is the list of all 14 right mirrors glasses that were fitted to the C5 RS6. This does not include mirror glasses that were available in different colours, sizes and specifications for other C5 A6 models. That really would be a rabbit hole I d...

Re: Drivers Wing Mirror Glass - Part No query
Hi Craig, Had a look at the build sheet (Good shout) - Right exterior mirror 6TS Right exterior mirror, aspherical , large viewing field. Unsure if the 6TS was an old number that goes after 8D0857536. Unable to find a reference to it anywhere with the 6TS extension. Hi Steven 5SJ and 6TS are the op...

Re: Drivers Wing Mirror Glass - Part No query
Hello [emoji1423] If my memory serves me correctly I made a build-sheet for your car? So I should have your VIN. I’ll login to ETKA and see which part numbers your car came fitted with from factory [emoji1417] There are so many different mirror types depending where in the world you live [emoji846] ...

Re: Secondary Air Injection System error codes
Hi Andrew Hmmm so you have changed the SAI pump for a new one, so in this case it's probably not full of water :bigblink: It's strange to have this error on both, so it's something common to both combi-valves. I would be checking the vacuum lines that run from and to the secondary air injection sole...

Re: Fitted new TPMS - TX-S001 Direct Fit TPMS Sensor
Hi Ben
This is really good info. Like you I also run my tyres at about 3 bar and one day when I find BBS compatible sensors I may re-enable the TPMS on my car
Regards
Craig

Re: Air con - fixed just in time for the heatwave
Digging this old thread up hoping someone can point me in the right direction. My air con has packed up due the drier leaking (split housing) Nobby, did the alternative from Autodoc fit? looks like the male and female threads are reversed in the pictures. Does anyone know where I can get one please...

Hi Lukasz
Is this goodbye
The last three 1000bhp builds I am aware of have not happened
Wishing you the best - no matter what you do with the C5

Re: Does anyone know how to activate auxiliary water pump with VCDS?
Is this a different/additional unit to the Auxiliary Water Pump in a D2 A8/S8? Because that just runs all the time AFAIK, don't even think you can see it in VCDS. The only separate way of controlling it is when using the residual heat system when parked as that turns it on so there must be a relay ...

Re: Does anyone know how to activate auxiliary water pump with VCDS?
Tried it. It does not have the option under the output test. It activates only the SAI pump (secondary air injection). Looking at the service manual all the tests prerequisites start with engine warm to at least 90C (can’t remember specifically the temperature) if temperature not achieved drive car...
