I think you can pull the cv joint off by putting the driveshaft bolt back in and doing it up...i haven't tried it though.

Re: Upper Control Arms
i think, if i remember correctly, you'll need to unbolt the strut at the top to get the control arm bolts out. No need to disconnect the drc though as you can move the strut around as much as you need on the flexi drc hose.

Re: Pinch Bolt
I was in the same situation a few months back as i was planning to change all control arms, drop links, top mounts etc. I spent ages fretting, looking for a tool, watching youtube videos on how to remove the pinch bolt. In the end i bought some plusgas and soaked the bolt every couple of days or so ...

The symptoms were, abs & traction control light, the abs activating sometimes at low speed & light brake pedal pressure, front left wheel sensor fault etc. I sent the module off to Ecu Testing, actually they collected it, it did take slightly longer...

Re: nla drc pipe
Thanks for the replies gents. Pirtek was my first thought, although i'd ideally like to use original parts, the problem then is getting the car to a specialist with a depressurised system. Would driving the car with no fluid in the suspension cause damage?

nla drc pipe
Evening all. I have a split drc pipe, front off side. Audi are showing no longer available, Audi Tradition have the pipe in stock but won't deliver to the uk. So the question is does anyone know of an alternative that'll fit, maybe from a later rs4 or something, or any other suggestions. Thanks in a...
