I replied to your other post!
I meant the car didn't exist kind of scam, but I fired off a post way too soon.
Looks like a decent buy, I hope it works out for you.
Is it on the original suspension?

Re: Is this a scam
Yeah I didn't look hard enough, just a couple of replies felt off so I posted where whilst on the move. It makes sense given who's selling it etc.
Yeah I remember the story about the RS04LEO car. Different kind of scam there.

Had a proper look, sure it's fine, given its a C&C ad and the level of detail etc.

Is this a scam
Hi,
Does this feel off to anyone else?
https://www.carandclassic.com/auctions/ ... rce=twilio
Selling the car after a deceased husband etc..The replies in the questions raise a flag for me.
Probably just being cynical...

Re: Running on 4 Cylinders
Update: They managed to recode the ECUs to remove the CheckSum error. Hopefully, that sorts it.

Re: OCT Composites ultimate underbody
My first question was going to be 'why?' but then I checked out your channel.
That is an amazing build and so cool to see an RS4 being used like that.
I've subscribed to see how it goes.

Update: It looks like one of the ECUs is dead.
I don't think there is any available new anymore!

Re: Running on 4 Cylinders
Thanks for the reply. I think this might relate to the tune and the ECU. I've sent it to the guys that tuned it, so let us see how it goes. Happy Christmas!!

Running on 4 Cylinders
Hi Some quick advice on this issue would be great. I've just had both fuel pumps replaced, the car was running well. I stopped for fuel and started up. The car was running on 4 cylinders (or what sounded like). I wouldn't rev past 2k. I managed to limp it to safety. I've started up a few times and h...

Re: Holding Speed
Hi, I'm 99% sure resetting the throttle won't impact the map (others can confirm). More info here: https://forum.rs246.com/viewtopic.php?t=124222 If you've got access to VCDS or and OBD2 scanner you could look at the live throttle or other data whilst driving. It might be obvious when you graph it t...

Re: GF56 ZXP
I posted a while back about a 217 mile car ( or something super low ). I'm sure the person who bought it was here on the forum. It would be interesting to see what the car needed. Although, I'm guessing it's not being driven given the crazy low milage, kind of an ornament at that point.

Re: GF56 ZXP
Yes, I'm trying to gauge how these things are priced. I know enough about my own car to walk into the showroom and find at least 10k worth of work on it! I appreciate the discussion, direct is good. I think the hunt for a good low miles car to cherish isn't going to be quick but I do feel a slight s...
