Hmm - ok thanks chunky. I know the car has been looked after and gearbox has been serviced, just not sure exactly when. Never given me any trouble so far.

Sorry - to add to the gearbox bit - it's had 2 gearbox services , new oil and filters, and strainer.

Service at 75k miles was completely clean with no faults.
