I once managed to get my Peugeot stuck in a wet field (Silverstone car park) how would the S4 cope with wet grass & mud? anyone tried!

I've also just noticed that the interior lights & door lights don't come on any more!
although the dash will light up to show the mileage each time any of the doors are opened.

Luckily the doors will lock by manualy pushing the door pins down,
but there's an unhealthy resistance when i do this and i'd rather not cause any more damage!

Unfortunately there's no way of manualy lifting the windows! so they're staying firmly shut 'til i cure the fault

I think i've got a problem with the drivers door electrics. every now and then i find that the central locking & electric windows stop working. I'm getting my S4 on Monday, it's a '98 S Avant in Silver

I'm yet to discover the exact spec, but I do know it has an MTM chip,
stainless exhaust, a short shift & some rather nice alloys!
