When you say tender, do you mean charger / maintenance charger (like a ctek or noco)?
I've used a noco on mine for charging / battery health and it's fine. Connect to the terminals under the bonnet rather than directly to the battery.

Re: How much can an oil change cost?
That's quite the thread revival... For a recent figure though, this week I had Jardine motors try to get me to book a "full" service for £490. That full service is an oil change and an air filter change. The person trying to get me to book didn't understand the concept of service intervals on any ot...

Re: Brake Noise (Squealing)
EBC Brake Shop have them on pre-order, and there are a few eBay sellers that have them for estimated delivery next week.
EBCs brake finder won't suggest redstuff for the RS4; only yellowstuff, but they do make the red in the same sizes

Re: B9 Milltek exhaust owners in UK
Hi Jamie, The Remus sounds pretty good on videos, where abouts are you located? I'm in Shropshire, so a bit of a trek from your neck of the woods I'm afraid! I'm quite interested in the Remus. Read reports of Milltek's rattling and some where they just flat out dont work the valved dont work which ...

I've not heard the Milltek, but mine has a Remus exhaust on and it's very lovely.

Re: 2020 B9.5 RS4 Vorsprung knocking noise DRC recharge
Yes. All fixed. Ah I wish mine was fixed. I think it’s maybe a bit better but the noise is still there. My dealer is now trying to source a RS4 with DRC to see it’s a symptom/feature of DRC before they do anything else. Unfortunately they don’t have any at the dealer in Aberdeen. Or Inverness, Pert...

Re: Pretty dead in here… so here’s a pic of my baby
My RS is the first non-black car I've bought since my first car, but the red with black optics just drew me in. The only thing missing is factory tints, but I don't think it misses them too much.

Re: Im Back
I'd pick the RS over the M3 every day of the week on looks alone. I'd be embarrassed to own something that fugly. The C63 will be interesting and the powertrain could be epic, but I've been finding the Merc styling to be quite garish and chintzy for quite a while now both inside and out so chances a...

I've had a rear damper replaced on my B9 (under warranty luckily).

Re: Im Back
I picked up a pre-FL car with high spec a few months ago. Think it's one of the 'launch' cars with alcantara steering wheel and shifter, and the anthracite matrix inserts. DRC does still have its issues; I've had a leaking rear shock changed under warranty. That being said, the range of capability i...

Re: RS4 2021 Just picked up
I don't think you needed to avoid using the RS modes; you just have to not put the gearbox into manual. If the gearbox is in normal or sport mode it will shift itself. If it's in manual (either you've pushed the lever to the side, or you've pulled a paddle) then it...won't. If you don't push the lev...

Re: Brakes - Options
Redstuff never did squeal on my previous cars, but it does on the RS4 unfortunately. That's unfortunate, I've run Redstuff on another car for years with no issue so had planned to switch to them for the RS4, but maybe it's worth trying to clean up the existing pads first to see if I can cure the sq...

Re: Brakes - Options
I ran EBC Redstuffs in my B9 RS4 - front and back, improved pedal feel and the initial bite. Markedly improved the brake performance as OEM was 'underwhelming'. Mine was an ex Audi UK press car so had likely been hammered for the 1st 6,000 miles of its life so the brake performance may have not bee...
