Re: Warped discs and pads - advice required
Well they took a look and couldnt fine any warpage on any discs.
Technician. said that pads had about 1500-2000km remaining, and I should try swapping those out first.
Any pad reccomendations? ..... I will never take the car to the track, and I drive most of the time quite sensibly.

After - some sound advice and a bucket of "f@ck it", I decided to let it be, it kind of brings a smile to my face and the kids when it fires up.

Re: Warped discs and pads - advice required
Hi Brooner, the car is still relatively new to me - but, will enquire about their brake changing procedure. The new discs were up front, but the vibration seems to come from the back.

Re: Warped discs and pads - advice required
I have the dreaded brake judder as described above - and am going in to the indie on Wed, curious as to what they come up with. Fronts were changed not long ago, but the vibrations are coming from rear driver side. Will keep this thread updated - with what they claim the source of the vibrations are...

Re: Start up dial movements and revs
If I wanted to do this with the VCDS software - would I be okay using the HEX V2 cable?

Start up dial movements and revs
Hi Is it a standard feature for the C7 RS6 PE 2016 models to start up with a load roar and the dial needles swinging to the right and then immediately to back? Apparently my neighbour got annoyed about the start up noise - not the cold start, but the initial "roar" of the engine on start up. I asked...

Re: RS6 handling...
Is the torque steer happening on the tuned cars more? Or is it a general C7 RS6 thing....?
I have 25k miles and Michelin PSS's on that are about half worn - (I pick it up on next Friday).....is torque steer something I should "look forward" to?

Re: C7 residual values holding up
I dont think this is just a UK thing either - the residual values for both pre and post face lift are holding up really well, with large premiums for Performance models and low mileages. Very similar to the GTR. Tuning actually doesnt make a difference either. Curious as to what will happen as more ...

Re: Super Audi Noob seeking advice/encouragement/love/tears etc
I am absolutely itching to get back in it, but have to wait till they service the car on the 11th June..... so will be trying to educate myself more. Quick question- I have the 2 usb ports, one has a mobile phone symbol - does this mean I have some kind of connectivity with my mobile to the MMI? App...

Re: Super Audi Noob seeking advice/encouragement/love/tears etc
Ohh my word. What an absolute beast. I thought I was used to fast cars, I was actually scared - that mid-range is absolutely brutal, no signs of struggling grip. My thoughts on the speed compar:- In the M5 you would hold your breath whilst that wall of torque washed over you, and the next thing you ...
