Re: Injector replacement - massive potential bill - any experience?
The car was faultless until it hit about 65k miles - from then on it's been a never ending money pit. New wheels due to the originals cracking, thermostat housing, water pump, control arms, drop links, o2 sensors, temp sensors, wiring loom, rear wipers, new turbo - now its engine out and all new inj...

Injector replacement - massive potential bill - any experience?
Hello chaps, My car has developed the hot start issue where you have to prod the throttle to get it to start. My main dealer couldn't diagnose the problem and said they tested the high pressure fuel pumps which seemed to be operating normally - they found some other issues and changed the temp senso...

Re: Recall Oil Strainer Turbos - Recall code 21H7
Picked mine up this afternoon, wish I’d never bothered getting the recall work done now! Had to return it after driving approx 20 mins, the car now feels like it’s NA, no power at all, lumpy idle and hesitant on pulling off. Tech seems to think it’s a blown gasket on the throttle body which means a...

Re: Recall Oil Strainer Turbos - Recall code 21H7
Garage just called - one of the turbo's is done and they will be replacing it as they recognise that it's failure was caused by the work undertaken by the recall....

Re: Recall Oil Strainer Turbos - Recall code 21H7
Just to update they have no had the car for 10 days - still not fixed.
They are about to strip down the turbos - so lets see.
My guess is that something, possibly a bit of the screen, has got into the feed pipe when they did the replacement and lunched the turbos.

Re: Higher Mileage C7's
Bought mine at 15k - now on 85k
Wheels have all been replaced (21”) as they had all cracked - two of them twice.
Bushings probably need replacing now as it’s starting to squeak and rattle a bit

Re: Recall Oil Strainer Turbos - Recall code 21H7
So mine went in for this - came back to me missing about 350bhp - feels like it’s making zero boost and the EPD light comes on. Dealer has had the car a week - under boost fault code showing - but apparently they can’t work out why or what they have done. Anyone got any suggestions? Also - did they ...

Re: Car stuttering at low revs
So it turns out that it WAS the spark plugs. Quite frankly why it takes them 3 weeks and 5 hours of diagnosis time to work out that it’s faulty plugs causing a misfire is beyond me. Anyway I got them to remove the diagnostic charges from the bill on the basis that plugs should be the first thing you...
