when my valve stem snapped i just went to kwickfit and the cloned the old sensor when replacing it with one they surplyed

thanks ian ive been chatting to ricky elder and there are two different alternators which use the blue lin wire differently so am thinking that ive had the wrong one fitted and thats why my car is saying no comms to generator/alternator. gonna check the wiring though

That’s why I wondering cause I have the two fault codes as mentioned which I didn’t have with the old alternator. Could they have different electronic boards in each of them if they did fit

Yea u can but I would recommend taking it to a propshaft specialist to remove the bearing if that is at fault. If you already have the uprated hanger I would fit that and leave the bearing on the propshaft and see if it sorts out the noise. If I doesn’t then take off the prop. To fit the uprated han...
