RS4 has 2 ECUs so maybe the error is on the second one - use VCDS to check - I found errors on the second ECU that were not on the main one when scanned.

Pipes are the expensive part
, the cooler can be got quite cheaply (for RS4 parts) on the aftermarket!

managed to get a Mulago Blue RS4 Cab Sept 2020 (£12k) with only 60k miles on the clock from NI. No wingbacks but had a brand New (blue) roof and clutch had just been done.
