Re: Any possible relaxing of car configurations?
I think that’s the thing, it’s a beast of a car but it’s not an out and out sports car so I’d rather be comfortable most of the time. I had a C8 rs7 for a short while in air and it was so much better than the air on my previous 5 series. Not too wafty but comfortable all round. I’m not saying the DR...

Re: Any possible relaxing or car configurations?
Thanks, I'm hoping to get a longer drive this weekend in one, I just wish there was the flexibility but at the moment everything is so delayed that I understand why they can't do it.

Any possible relaxing of car configurations?
I've got a fully loaded Vorspung on order, I think I ticked every box except ceramic brakes, but that's not saying much as there are not many boxes to tick! I went for a Vorsprung as I really want a pan roof, but I'm not all that keen on the uprated suspension on the Vorsprungs, I much preferred the...

Re: Dealer Discounts?
I placed my order 2 weeks ago, got roughly 6k off list. Basically get a price from coast2coastcars or a similar broker (c2c were my best discount this time), take to the dealer and say I'll place on order if you match it. They did for me.

Re: In a pickle, need to make a decision
Definitely standard fit in all models except base spec from MY21. I used it myself on some of the many test drives I’ve been on

In a pickle, need to make a decision
Hi all Long story short, I have a C8 RS7 Carbon Black. I love it but it's also had a number of issues with it, to the point that in the 30 days I've had it, its been in the dealer 24 of them over 3 visits. The dealer is buying it back from me as a rejection so I will be car less this week. I also ju...

Re: Heavily leaning towards an RS6 C7.5...
very good points thanks. It's funny you say that about the Merc's interior as I kind of felt the same about the Audi. Bear in mind I have had an A6 of this generation before, not an RS though. I do agree that the newer mercs you might have seen look a little plasticky, but my CLS I've just got rid o...

Re: Heavily leaning towards an RS6 C7.5...
It appears so. So I can ignore anything saying performance pre 2016. Is there a version of a vin decoder for Audi like there is for Merc and BMW?

I’m definitely not doubting you but therefore this example is incorrectly labelled? What’s the benefit of people doing this as this isn’t the only one

Re: Heavily leaning towards an RS6 C7.5...
Ok, I see a lot of cars advertised as 2014 models being performance with 605hp. What are those?

Re: Heavily leaning towards an RS6 C7.5...
what would be a better choice, all things being equal, a 2014 pre facelift Performance, or a facelift standard?

Re: Heavily leaning towards an RS6 C7.5...
Thanks for that, I wasn't comparing the RS against my Mercedes diesel, more against the Merc CLS AMG 63 S, which is my current other choice and which I've driven a number of times. Thanks for the information though, helpful to know

Heavily leaning towards an RS6 C7.5...
Hello all New member here but been browsing for a while. I've recently sold my Merc CLS Diesel, and my TVR, with the view to combine into a single car that "does it all". Until the last week, my plan was to trade my CLS Shooting Brake for a CLS AMG 63 S Shooting Brake. I love the CLS SB, for me and ...
