Re: Low power and 6500 rpm limit

I'm at a loss then. I just got my new hpfps in and installed and that seems to have fixed my problem. Any luck diagnosing yours?

Re: Worth the effort/expense?

I spoke to APR about it and they said there is no need to retune, the tune that's already installed with supercharger should automatically compensate for the intake and cat removal/exhaust

Re: Worth the effort/expense?

Well, I live in an area where emissions and inspections are not required. I of course want every ounce of power/performance/ efficiency out of it but I'm kind of wanting a dual natured animal. I want no drone as I'd like to be able to cruise comfortably (not silently) but when I get on it I want eye...

Re: Low power and 6500 rpm limit

Have you checked fuel rail pressures? Line 140 on obdeleven not sure if the same on vcds. Shows requested vs actual pressures

Re: Low power and 6500 rpm limit

Sounds slightly, similar to what was happening when my high pressure fuel pumps were failing. Though I've not gotten the new ones yet so not sure if it'll be fixed....

Re: Suspension musings

Oh hmm, OK, like I said I was mostly just curious. I've been considering a move to central America so the thought of how to keep the rs4 but still be able to drive on shitty roads came to mind

Re: Suspension musings

How about allroad suspension from the C5, think that would be a lot better chance of fitting rather than a tiguan Pretty sure the allroad is the same platform as A6(c5) at least in the US, where as the tiguan is a variant of the a4 platform(pl/pq ie b6/b7) I know I read somewhere somebody putting a...

Haha, oh I get it. Lol it's not in my current plans. Just saw a passat the other day with flares off road tires and lift, and made me think huh? Lol

Suspension musings

Has anyone given thought to or better yet achieved an install of a Tiguan suspension onto a b7 rs4? Obviously seriously hindering track performance, but ground clearance and ability to put some all-terrains on is itching at the back of my mind....pls don't judge me.....or do just make it funny Sent ...

Re: Nasty misfiring\lag WOT 5.5k-6.5krpm

The fuel rail low pressure makes me think high pressure fuel pump(apr $1850 yuk) but the not firing on startup makes me think more along the lines of main pump in tank. Just ordered new main pump, inline filter, high press sensor, low press sensor(Amazon $160 much better fingers crossed) https://upl...

Re: Nasty misfiring\lag WOT 5.5k-6.5krpm

Well OK, had a suggestion that it was cheap gas so I got shell 92 with a bottle of techron. Within a few minutes there was a epc light rough running, misfire through whole Rev range, then upon shutdown cool down, freely turns over but won't fire... like at all Codes popped before shutdown include lo...
