Re: RS6 headlight bulbs

And on mine it's definitely the fog light replacement projectors that come on when you unlock or switch off the car.

Re: RS6 headlight bulbs

Trups modified RS6 Headlights are much better than stock as he uses better projectors, so even just using the 1 set of lights both the dipped and full beam are better - when you switch both on, both dipped and full are really good, better spread, more ven lighting and brighter with a better cutoff

Re: RS6 headlight bulbs

Ah, so you don't get the extra main beam unless you have the fogs on? Exactly, HID startup is too slow for them to be used as a mainbeam flasher or quick mainbeam function - they need to be on and warmed up first to get the full benefit - unless you go to Bi-LED (instant on) as I am currently build...

Re: RS6 headlight bulbs

I have the Trups upgrade too.

It's great, works exactly as normal until you switch the fogs on, then you have 2 identical lights,
I.e 2* dipped beams or 2* main beams on each light unit.

Strongly recommended.

Re: Best place to buy replacement propshaft

My rubber has gone as well, I'm fitting an aftermarket support that clamps around the shaft, would this solve your problem? https://www.darksidedevelopments.co.uk/products/audi-s6-rs6-c6-propshaft-centre-support-bearing-carrier-upgrade.html?sku=C6001A0-B&gclid=CjwKCAjwt7SWBhAnEiwAx8ZLao5xJjlozOz0sAl...

Ah, I have a set of normal style as well should these prove to be crap. They worked fine on the Esprit but I imagine the springs on that are a lot lower rate than the RS.
I stripped it compressing the Springs on the Aston DB9

Re: Brake Upgrade Supplier

Those are the discs I put on my car, with the Phaeton ducts and Ferodo FS2500 pads the brakes are awesome Can you describe what the upgrade feels like? I upgraded mine a few years ago by fitting larger front discs, and it made the car feel lighter, which was a good thing. I was wondering what you t...

Re: Anyone fitted Maxton design parts?

I have Maxton front splitter and rear spoiler lip, love the look of them but the splitter is very fragile and brittle and easy to damage.

I also have a pair of side skirts that i decided not to fit if anyone is interested in them

Re: Anyone have a spare Caliper

Hi-jacking this thread a little but related; I have one of the pistons seized in my N/S caliper and I am assuming since it will not budge at all either under brake pressure or trying to pry it home that its going to mean a new caliper required. My pad on that caliper is wearing at an acute angle! A...

Don't know what calipers the DB has stock, but I'd check and compare the total fluid volumes of the 2 calipers, you don't want the uprated caliper to starve the system
I've already got the larger master cylinder that goes with the 6 pots, thanks
