I did have RAC platinum from the dealer I bought the car from. It was excellent. Always pix without quibble up to £5k per claim.
Prob is I think only dealers can purchase it

Re: RS 4 exhaust flaps newbie question
Had the same thing a year or so back. Wd40 plus grease on the actual arm did the trick and been fine since. Tip is to regularly open them so they don’t seize. Set engine noise to dynamic in the individual setting in mine and select that for most drives. Gives you the best sound and prevents this pro...

Dry Sump?
Hi, does anyone know if our car has a dry sump?
I recall that the V8 in the R8 did, but not sure if that’s the same engine as in the RS4?
Thanks

Re: Upgrading to a B9
So my search for a B9 continues…
I’ve noticed that none of the cars for sale mention DRC. Is this because it is a standard fit, or perhaps part of a pack (like sports pack on the B8)
Also does anyone know what the driver assist pack consists of and if it’s worth having?
Thanks!

Re: Upgrading to a B9
Hi, still undecided!
I am looking for a B9 with the right spec.
Test drove a couple and the ride is certainly a big improvement on the B8. Was a little underwhelmed by the sound (even with sport exhaust) but expected that.

Re: Upgrading to a B9
Will do, thanks a lot! It’s little but annoying things like folding mirrors and reversing cameras that you assume are included that I want to get right. DRC on the B8 is great when working, especially in dynamic where the car really comes alive (not quite at the levels of our M5 comp, but pretty goo...

Upgrading to a B9
Hi Guys, I currently have a B8 RS4 and thinking of part ex for a B9, likely a pre facelift model. Having looked through autotrader and this forum I have a couple of questions please: I know options are a personal choice but are there any you guys would regard as must have, packs specifically? Was sh...

Supercharged B8?
Does anyone know why no one supercharges the B8? With so many supercharged B7s, I would have thought that companies will have supercharged the B8 by now? Only difference is the gearbox so I guess it can’t handle the extra power like the manual in the B7? Having said that there is an S-tronic in the ...

Favour please- Exterior lights options
Can someone please take a photo of the options you see within the exterior lights options screen on vehicle settings.
Below is mine. Just want to see if you guys have the same options as I have been having a few coding issues.
Thanks

Daylight Running Light Warning on Dash
Bit of an odd one-
Am getting both left and right daylight running light bulb malfunction warnings on the dash but both lights are working normally.
Checked the battery with the engine off and the voltage is 12.3v which I’m told is ok.
Any ideas what’s causing this warning please?

Re: Suspension Control System dash light
Thanks. Mine was just a one off. Had everything checked by specialist and given clean bill of health (for now!). They put it down to the suspension not being able to self level when I switched to comfort due to the condition of the road. I was doing 15mph in slow traffic on M25 junction 10 where the...

Suspension Control System dash light
The amber suspension control system error popped up on my dash whilst going over a particularly uneven road.
Car seems to drive ok.
Has anyone had this fault before or knows what it means?
Will be taking car to specialist as soon as I can to have it read
Thanks
