Re: 2003 Audi C5 RS6 For Sale

As above. I’ve been here for a few years now and I can vouch for Matts honesty and integrity, I’ve seen the car a few times and it looks like a great example. £13k is a bargain in my opinion here.

Matt, if you’re just looking for another project then I’m more than happy to swap for mine. 🤪

Re: Scuttle panel

As already stated, looks amazing Wez. Any pics of all the items fitted together?

Also how’s the carbon roof project coming along? Don’t forget to weigh the roof once removed, be interested to know the difference. 👍

I’m doing my rears at the moment Frazz, I’ll dig out the part numbers for the ends if it helps?

Finally found the problem. 4 wires cut through due to opening and closing the boot over the years.

Thankfully job done.
Knowing what you’re like with your car Steve you’re probably contemplating rewiring the whole car now. 🤣

Re: Rear view mirror failed

By the way Chris what does that corrosive liquid taste like ???? 🤣 I did taste it at the time (very stupid of me I know) but I can’t remember what it tasted like other than that “oh <beep>, that wasn’t nice and I shouldn’t have done that” taste. You know the one, like the taste of your best mates n...

Re: Headlining removal

Thank you both. Yes, that's what I've done - and I was planning hot glue too, so good to know it was successful for you. Sorry mate, not been on the forum much lately. You should have called me. 🤪 I actually elected to leave the trim in place and work around it. For me I thought that if I didn’t ne...

Re: Rear view mirror failed

100% worth removing as soon as you notice the fade. I got in the car one morning and it looked like someone had opened a can of coke and it had dripped on my dash. Thankfully no damage to the interior other that the soft touch plastic which needed replacing. Johns mirrors don’t contain a liquid but ...

Found a good breaker

Hi guys Just wanted to give credit where it’s due and give you all the heads up on a good guy I’ve found breaking an RS. A chap called Faz hooked me up with these awesome condition handbrake cable clamps and a few other bits for a very reasonable price. PM me if you want his number. Currently he has...

@Chris - I think you ended up with the one on the right, to refurb, didn't you? And its other half?
I did. I can’t remember if I refurbed mine or yours. However I do have a spare set should anyone want them. 👍

Re: Wheeler Dealers Nov 20th RS6 C5

Not a bad episode at all and, in my opinion, showed the RS in a very good light and looks like a great example. Is it a plus or just dressed as one? How many times do you think they had to clear all the nuisance fault codes (door locks…)? 🤣 Anyone else want to beat Mike “the butcher” with his mop wh...
