Re: Milltek - Car sounds like a JOKE!

Listening to the video, it is the engine that doesn't sound right. How does the car drive and how does it sound under load? It drives and sounds like it should in general, just have to ignore the stupid chirping. This started when I had the centre section replaced under warranty (bracket sheared of...

Milltek - Car sounds like a JOKE!

Guys, this is my RS6 with a Milltek non-res cat back systems installed, it sounds terrible, that high pitched chirping you can hear in the video is audible 80% of the time, and the overriding sound from the car in town and even on the motorway. The fitting garage contacted Milltek with a video to ha...

Bumping back to top of the forum....
I still have a chirping Milltek - sounds bloody awful...
Does anyone have any experience? Is it a Milltek issue? Or Milltek on RS6 C7 issue?

Any information would be really useful please? :|

Re: Cannot deactivate traction control....advice please

Thanks!

I didn't know there was a change wheel mode....how do you find that? Mines a pre face-lift 2013.

I disconnected the battery for 20 mins today, but no change.

What kit should I buy to read and reset faults?

Cannot deactivate traction control....advice please

Hi Guys I had the car detailed last week, looks awesome....but... Since then I cannot turn the traction control off! According to the detailer, a fault came on the dash when he switched the car on, on one occasion....it was a picture of a dampener and he thought is said something about suspension. W...

@r33

Can you give me an idea of install please?

Where did you pick up power for the AMP?
Did you have to route speaker wires from head unit to AMP? - is this easy? How did you do it?

Thank you :)

Re: New Milltek sounds broken?

Hi Guys I had a new Milltek non-res cat-back fitted yesterday. It sounds awesome in general, exactly what I wanted. But I have the chirpy sounds on overrun too. Noticed this morning while driving in built up area. The sound seems to last (duration) the same amount of time in all situations. Road or ...

Uneven ride height across rear axle

Morning! Only last week when walking up to the back of the car I noticed it was 'leaning' a little. Turns out one side sits about 10mm lower than the other. I have DRC. Would i be correct in assuming it can't be anything to do with the hydraulics - assuming that when sitting stationary, parked witho...

Re: 15mm spacers

I believe so buddy, just check your wheel hub details: 112 x 5, 66.5mm centre is the spec of my wheel hub. This means their are 5 threaded holes equally spaced on an imaginary 112mm circle (thats the 112 x 5 part), then there's the 66.5mm centre bore. Yours is the same as mine according to https://w...
