Fixed the issue. Manual release wouldn't work. Stripped off tailgate trim completely. Unbolted latch from tailgate got tailgate open. Unbolted striker from body and tried to separate them off the vehicle. Didn't work so fitted them back on vehicle. Re connected electrics and operated remote while pr...

Just joined so my first post. I have a 2010 avant c6 rs6 with power tailgate. When I operate the remote, boot switch or door release switch the tailgate tries to unlock. It raises 10-20mm then tailgate pulls shut again. I've tried the manual release through little inspection hatch on tailgate but it...
