Re: How to achieve best acceleration ?
Well guys...to add to the thread... I managed to do 11.59 on 1/4 mile. Don't remember if I've mentioned it before....0-100km/h still a a slow 4.06 sec....my 100-200 km/h is 7.01...The car has a tune, miltek catback, 3" custom downpipes and filters... Do you think this is the limit of the car? I boug...

Re: How to achieve best acceleration ?
Which makes me think to look over my hp and torque curve. I was also thinking of changing the timing chain and everything that needs replacing along the way and fitting it with hybrid turbos but somehow i am afraid the gearbox won't hold it well over time. Does anyone provide any kits for the gearbo...

By warmer time,i didn't mean 40C but just a bit warmer since the air temperature might be at 17-19 C but the asphalt is still cold at least where I live. @don0301...what do you have so you can achieve 2.9 s ?

How to achieve best acceleration ?
Ok...so something wrong is going on... I got my dragy and today since it was 19 C i got the best 1/4 mile time of 11.59 sec @ 196.45 km/h and 60ft @ 1.99s, 1/8 mile on that run is 7.69 s @ 162.10 km/h.... Strange thing is at that run....the 0-100 km/h 4.32 s and yes it was 5.25 % slope. However a fe...

Re: Wides tires on 20"
That's what I meant... 285/35 would be the choice i guess. It wouldn't be much better but i guess it could give a bit more grip.

Wides tires on 20"
Hi guys, It seems there are no threads about what the widest tires could be put on the rs6. I have the 20" version since it has the ceramics. Roads here are not the best so I was thinking if i should go with a bit wider tire hence a slightly bigger sidewall. Since the standard is 275/35/20 , i am gu...

Re: Airbag light on
Jim,
Nope, I live in Bulgaria. Car was imported from Germany last year, previous owner had it for one year but says it happened before the steering wheel was changed. The previous owner said it appeared once, disappeared and then appeared again and it stuck.

Re: Airbag light on
Jim, Thanks for the response. I think this particular shop didn't know how to clear the codes on the SRS module, so i am taking the car to my mechanic tomorrow, so he could check it. He might be reading my this thread later ( so hello there Krasi hah ). I have to change my battery since it isn't the...

Re: Airbag light on
Well, so my new milltek catback was installed. I told the guys to check on the airbag light and they said everything seems to be okay BUT it is something in the electronics and in order to check that they have to disassemble the whole dash and said 99% of the time, it is some small stupid thing that...

Re: Airbag light on
Thanks...I definitely wouldn't try it... The previous owner has changed the steering wheel to alcantara one ,so i was actually wondering if they had done anything wrong when disconnecting/connecting the steering wheel again.
Thanks for the input.

Airbag light on
Hi guys, I recently purchased my 2008 rs6 c6. I had an airbag light on when I purchased it and the error from the health check report is B10001A Driver Airbag Igniter - Resistance Too Low. I searched the forum but there aren't a lot of topics with this error. Does this mean there is a short circuit ...
