Be nice if there was a small meet perhaps - looking to sell mine later this year so hopefully before it goes to meet some others

My mechanic replaced that when i had the prop shaft repaired ( feltham prop repairs ) they fitted a cosworth knuckle as mentioned it’s the only one that is strong enough ?? Short shift is only the gear stick selecting mech in the centre console of the car. You can get other parts for it that attached to the gearbox but i didn’t see the point for a road car - the upgrade is enough and just takes a lot of travel out of your gear changes

it got OEM from auto doc or car parts online - shipped from europe - cost was a lot less , same with pads

mine does it in first / 2nd when and i feel like i’m learning to drive again. It’s pretty violent and i have to press the clutch to stop it

It’s all down to your driving - your not applying enough power so it is telling you your an idiot

replace the ball socket part as you have asked - i had this with 1st / 2nd gear
Check with audi the part number
I also fitted a JHM short shift to mine - Now that makes a difference !

Is that something we organise ourselves or is there a admin member who does that ?

Ace cafe is 20mins from mine,

Easier to head out of london where you can use more than 3 gears

Aylesbury area is nice to drive around - Dunno - What do others think ?

Same happened to me. I sprayed electrical contact cleaner on the car side and then plug unplug a few times and has gone away
