Re: Are we still have active c7 rs6 owners?

Yes, still here, and still loving my c7.5.

Like others, I use the FB group page a lot more but not many are actual owners

I did contemplate at one point to trade in for a performance model, but then read many horror stories so decided to keep mine which is running very nicely

Re: Audi smartphone carplay activation

Those who installed carplay and use Spotify, do you know if all character encoding on Spotify (encoding for kanji , big5, i.e Chinese or Japanese characters) show up correctly?

Can anyone help test if they have? Thankssss!

Re: Which Extended Warranty would you recommend?

Does anyone know if it’s possible to obtain Audi Warranty if the car was purchased from an independent dealer and not Audi Approved? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I spoke to them when I was deciding on a car and they don't seem to mind. You can just get the registration of the car and enter fo...

Re: Poor performance?!

Not wishing to play the 'don't dis a Golf R card', these cars really shouldn't be underestimated. Mine although only Stage 2 (with hardware) so pushing out about 410bhp, will comfortably & repeatably hit 0-60 in 3.2/3secs & although it will start to run out of puff once well over 100 & a C7 RS6 wou...

Re: Poor performance?!

Personally i have obdeleven (around 65€), super user friendly, leave the dongle in car and connect with your phone. About the golf, engine numbers are one thing....weigh difference is an other ;)....but clearly something is not performing well on your car apperently (checked airfilter?). Oh guess y...

Re: Poor performance?!

It can be anything tbh... One issue i once had was....i had 1 of the 2 turbo pressure sensors malfunction. It didn't throw a visual code (check engine light for example) but once i read the car with obd scanner it showed up. Car wasn't making full boost and felt lumpy. A quick visual indication was...

Re: Poor performance?!

Hey all, I've had the RS6 for about 3 weeks now and before I purchased, I read about watching out for hesitation and lag especially during the test drive. Over the last few weeks, I've been feeling a hesitation from the car but I thought it must just be me getting used to it. However, tonight I was...

Re: Poor performance?!

Hi Giksieman, You want to register with 'MyAudi' https://my.audi.com (You need your account verified at an Audi dealer, V5 and ID required) as this will show you the full service history and what has been done (or it should), even if it hasn't always been serviced at a main dealer, most specialists...

Re: Poor performance?!

I think it’s you getting used to power, maybe need a ecu remap, but I would stay stock, it’s more than enough and less headaches after all I would be very happy if it was just me getting used to the power. However when a hot hatch which is half the cost with a single turbo and half the engine pulls...

when my turbos failed other than no power and lumpy idle there was nothing to see or hear. Not sounding great
Hey Paulm, so was it just reduction in power over time gradually or suddenly no power at all?

Lumpy idle meaning?

Cheers!

Re: Poor performance?!

The problem is I haven't had a performance vehicle for a while, since the kids. Hence when I got the RS, it felt extremely quick compared to our runaround and the X5 I traded in which I drove like a grandad. Hence like you said, could be subjective, and initially thought it was just me getting used ...

From the zine: The Situation: There have been several members on here who have conducted all the preventative maintenance with regard to their oiling system, and still experienced turbo failures. Re: Burning smell?

Never experienced that.. could it be something stuck to your exhaust and burning off? Have you popped open the bonnet after a drive to see if it is stronger under there and if there is any visible smoke??? If it doesn't go away then I would get it checked out?! Lig. Couldn't see anything obvious on...
