Aircon not working
The aircon doesn't work it holds the gas and the fuses are ok so while I had the front end off I took a punt an changed the aircon pressure switch but it didn't work.
So before I look at the aircon pump is there anything else it could be ?.
Cheers

Re: Best tyre and spacer combo for 20" RS5 alloys
Morning, Running 265/30/20 on coilovers. Although they are ET29 they catch the front brakes which I thought was odd as I assume they would fit straight on must be the curve of the spoke on the 20's so had to use 5mm spacers. Found they were only catching on one of the arch liner screws so I have tak...

What is the best tyre width spacer combo combo to fit 20" rs5 alloys with et29 offset.
Currently have 5mm spacers on the front with 265 tyres but they catch.

Handbrake Cables
While refurbishment the underside the handbrake cables <beep> themselves taking the bottom arms off and the ratchets extended all the way out and won't adjust back. Can the cables be replaced from removing the center console or do I need to drop the heatshield and exhaust to get at where they connect.

Coming along nice that mate.
Currently changing everything on mine but struggling to get the rear inner c.v joints. Did you get new shafts or rebuild your old ones.

Phoned Awesome GTI for a quote on some powerflex bushes comes in at nearly £1000. I have also emailed AutoDoc to see if they can price it up as there is loads of choices on the website and didnt want to get the wrong ones.

Re: Places that supply parts for our cars
Parts in Motion in the UK do some. I got my handbrake cable from them. https://www.partsinmotion.co.uk/ There is another big site called Trodo that is in Norway. They list alternates quite comprehensively but some are weird. I've not bought from them yet as I generally use Autodoc even though they ...
