Re: I don’t think this’ll Tcut out!

this had me wondering... If a car like this is smashed and repaired by the insurance company and ends up with a CAT rating... this clearly affects the resale value of the vehicle. Do insurance companies here pay you for diminished value as well? Why will it end up with a cat rating if it is repaire...

Re: Moved from //M*

I think this one is a keeper. ... The wife has forgiven and now insists on pressing the start button. Ouch! Bad tactical mistake! Both of them are... 8) Touche. I told her I would have many cars and one wife. Seeing a world full of caveats she corrected me to "one woman". Being the eternal smart as...

Re: Moved from //M*

Thanks! I think its best to revisit the context. I had a Z4m for over 4 years, putting 35000 miles on it. Id driven it up to John 'O' Groats and down to Goodwood and loved every minute of having it. Each and every drive was an event and it always felt special. It fizzed and was quite relentless in r...

Re: Potential move from //M

Afternoon all, Firstly thanks for all the input on this thread. Very much appreciated and really helped with the decision making. Speaking of which... four months after thinking about it the //M Coupe is sold and I have an RS4! I had been looking for a carbon trim car and intended on swapping out th...

Re: Potential move from //M

It tried to kill me regularly, especially if it had rained that day, week, or month, but I loved it, and would have kept it if I could I’ve tried on several occasions to explain the appeal of driving a car that feels like it wants to spit you into a hedge at every opportunity. Makes me sound like a...

Re: Potential move from //M

I moved from an E46 M3 to a B7 RS4. I’m averaging 20mpg calculated but I don’t daily mine. Things will be expensive if you don’t pick a good one, like anything though. Thanks Frazer. I'm currently averaging 22mpg so I'm fairly used to it. the key is buying a good 1 to begin with Good luck in your h...

Moved from //M*

Greetings Audi enthusiasts and fellow petrol heads, My current daily driver is a BMW Z4M (please don't spit on me) and I'm looking for something more sensible. Queue an RS4 B7 - Four doors, 4WD and isofix solves for all eventualities... a v8 scratches an itch that's been developing for quite some ti...
