Got the pump removed - thanks for the tips. The rear oil seal was as expected solid and brittle. While the pumps out I'm going to strip it down and replace the check valves - I don't want to be doing this job again any time soon!

I did it twice on mine without removing bumper, radiator, AC compressor etc. The only thing I removed was the stabilizer. But still, it was a two and half day job for me doing this without help form other persons. And it is a time of continous swearing because of limited space and too large fingers...

Thats a tough one. There doesn't seem to be too much damage, but the parts can be VERY expensive. RS parts are expensive enough, but the Cabs appear to have some specific RS parts that are even more expensive. I've just replaced the main rad on my RS4 Cab and that was £550. The RS aircon rad is also...

That is a lovely looking car and I remember when it was last up for sale. I’ve been looking at RS4 Cabriolets for a few years and the pricing of cabs varies considerably, they don’t follow the trends of the saloon or avants (they are generally priced lower) and vary with the seasons – everyone want...
