Hi Guys

I sold my car nearly a year ago now and I had bought a bunch of spares from another RS6 guy, shout if anyone needs anything. I have things like ecu, tcu, airbag control unit, drc shocks, drivers air bag, passenger bag etc etc etc

what about the RS logo on the calipers? I am keen to have my calipers done but reluctant to loose the logo...

you basically have to grab the eeprom and flash data from the old ecu and write both of those to the new ecu which would keep the immo and software all the same and wont require any key programming etc

nevermind I am an idiot they can only be plugged in one way ...

anyone? I didnt mark them when I pulled my manifold this time and I cant figure out which is meant to be plugged into which?

as the topic states, need some help with the knock sensors, ie the 2 on the right hand side the g198 and the g66 is the g198 the one under the intake and the g66 the one on the side of the block or the other way round?

Yeah it’s on the other end of the hose.

Sometimes it comes apart when you remove the intake but it probably needed to be replaced anyway.

I believe this can be done in situ but I ended up just pulling the motor

I think as long as the 2 crankcase breathers that go in to the top next to the maf seats are out you can lever the intake off of the maf housing.

see this is where me7logger comes into it own (can log more than 4 values)

I would do

boost actual
boost specified
intake temp
knock/timing <beep>

Have you tried to loosen them and just retighten again?

i would check atf 1st, the harsh gear changes when NOT in PRNDS all lights on points more to mechanical

Thinking about it, in flipper S mode, does the MTM tcu hit the rev limiter before/without changing gear automatic? I seem to remember when i drove in s mode at about 4500rpm for some time, it would change to a lower gear... That is very annoying. Thats what i really want to have changed in mine in ...
