Just gone 2015 B8 Ltd Ed to 2023 B9 Carbon Black. The B9 is a MUCH better car. Speed, handling, comfort - awesome.

Stock discs and pads for me - all good. And endless street pads on my mr2 which are great - had to get them from Japan tho. Think they make pads for the RS but not sure if they come with wear indicators

My B8 RS4 needs new pads. Plus the rear discs are lipped. Currently running stock parts.

What are peoples current recommendations for brake setups?

I have "worming" underneath the paint on the inside rear edge of the aluminium o/s front door skin. Audi dealer reckoned it was a warranty claim. Audi UK refused to pay. Agreed to it being a workmanship issue, but that doesn't qualify.

That’s certainly a sad thing, although lots seem to have had issues with DRC. So feel for you. Did they say why it needs multiple regas? I’m one of the fortunate ones. No problems until I figured at 7 years and 240,000kms it was getting tired so replaced the lot with factory DRC as original. Totall...

Just having my 5th damper and DRS recharge in 3 years and 19k miles.

Weird one. If I drive the car in Comfort setting, I get some noise/clunks from one of the DRC dampers. When in individual mode, but with suspension set to Comfort - no noises. Why would that be?

The chrome nose of my parking brake switch has snapped off. Anyone know if the existing unit pops out easily to replace?

Righto - decided to get rid of the DRC. I've seen that Koni springs and dampers have been used by people. I want to do this once, so has anyone got any recommendations/warnings regarding choice - such as Koni/Bilstein? Don't want the car lowered.

Any recommendations for specialists in South Wales/South West?

I replaced the terrible Pirelli P Zeroes with Michelin Pilot Super Sports as soon as I got my RS4 and they performed really well.

If you want to keep DRC get a decent independent. I don’t know any in that area.

If your happy with aftermarket check this post. The guy near the end went in the other direction and was very happy with the results.
