That surprises me. it must be a year thing. I sold mine privately 3 weeks ago (15 plate, 21k miles), WBAC were offering £30K at the time.

Not being very experienced about Collecting Cars, did the cars that sold actually complete, was there a reserve, just because the bid went to £24k or whatever doesn’t mean the seller accepted that bid. WBAC valuation for mine has been pretty consistent since June last year when I first thought about moving it on. AUC car in warranty / 15 plate / pretty well specced / 21k miles.

I can’t see why an Audi extended warrenty wouldn’t cover this. Also if it’s completly out of the blue with no prior warning signs, it’s worth considering the alternator and charging module. I flipped P Zeros (felt the grip was terrible) to Michelin 4S in Feb this year. Not looked back.

Since then, drove London > Marbella and back (through France, Spain), 3k miles, all conditions and road surfaces and have been great. Would replace with same when needed but may move car on.
