had a lot of issues with my DRC. (and still does not have the ride comfort it should have). one advice if it is noisy something is broken! so go ahead with it and do not believe your dealer. Audi knows very well the problem they have with the drc system so if there is noise ---> they need to fix it ...

small update... after 2 weeks without my RS4 ( @Belgian importer Dieteren now) they informed me they will replace both actuators and 1 shockabsorber. This is exactly what they did 4 weeks ago... ohhh help!! new car 5 months and already in total 6 weeks in garage...

Hi, after 5 BMW's I switched to an RS4 B9 few months ago, and till now (15000 km) I missed my car already more then 5 weeks in total... due to DRC valve problems (changed already twice+ 2 front dampers), losing pressure with a very wiggling driving handling as result.
