Re: No rpm
OK, thank`s a lot so far Jim! The first thing I think is to find the connection point. If there is oxide on the connections, the resisistance increases when the engine bay heats up, and CAN change the values from the hall sensor into the ECU. I will also try to look in my files after diagrams. Post ...

Re: No rpm
Thank`s for input guys! But Jim, dont forget that the starter always stays on when this happens. And this is not a mechanical problem in the starter, couse the relay to the starter is on. So it feels like the ECU don`t get the feedback signal that the engine is running, and there for don`t shut off ...

Re: No rpm
Maybe I didn`t mention, but I changed the sensor a year ago with same result. No dust on the sensor.
Is this sensor the only input for engine speed?

Re: No rpm
Thank's Jim!
But this only happens when the engine is warm. Can it still be the flywheel then?

Re: Sound increase
Thankยดs a lot Ian! You always give good answers on this forum!!
What increase in HP and torque can I expect after loosing the precats with a retune?
Can you recommend where I can buy high quality down pipes?

Sound increase
Hello boys!
I wonder if removing the precats will make any difference in sound. Higher or different?
My setup is: Stage 1 tune, Milltec catback-non resonated and BMC-filters and sec. cats removed.
Couldnยดt find any topic on this.

Re: Power gain
Sorry Ian, I get confused here.
So what you mean is that, I now have stage 1 with aproximately 700 HP, but if I do a remap I can reach 730?

Re: Power gain
Thank`s for your answers guys! The result of the cat delete according to the noise was amazing! The bangs between gears are so loud now, and the noise over all are higher. You almost can hear every piston stoke, really love it! When coldstart it`s on the limit for what you can stand if you are close...

Power gain
Hello boys and girls! I have a stage one with bmc and catback milltek. The tuner (AK-tuning Sweden) states 690 HP with this setup. 680 without Milltek. I'm gonna loose the sek.cats today. How is this decat gonna effect sound and power? Is this setup good for stage two now, and how big is that gain? ...

Clicking noise
Hello lads!
Changed all four cv joints and wheel bearings at the front. Still having clicking noise from the right front. Only from cold start, and bigger problem in cold weather.
It ends after a short bit of driving, 100 m maybe.
Ideas??

Re: Hoses to the intake plenum
OK, thank`s very much Ian! Very kindly of you. There are two T-connections. One before the solenoid, and one after. (bad pictures) Both of theese hoses goes back to the engine torpedo wall, and are stucked with one screw in each. So I know where they end. The question now is: am I going to get troub...
