Re: Standard steel discs and pads.. How long should they last?
Out of interest why are the OEM discs and is so expensive? Are the better after market options available and presumably they are not rocket science to fit?

Thank you for that. Are they the aero bars as well? How do you find wind noise when boot in use?

Roof bars and bike racks
Hi all, Looking to get a pair of bars for the roof plus a couple of racks for the bikes. Ideally I'm after some thule aero but looking on Ebay for c7 racks many have a fitting kit that doesn't look right for the rails on my 2016 model. Do any of you run with thule bars and if so can you post a pic u...

Re: Newbie needs urgent advise from experts
I’m by no means an expert as I was in the same boat as you a few weeks back but I’ve had my 2016 PE now for 3 weeks. I considered the non PE model but the Pes are slightly better specced and also seem to hold their value a little better. My must haves were assistance pack, rear camera and Dynamic pa...

Re: Banging/knocking when going over bumps
Not many C6 or C7 fail to be fair! I wish that were so - regarding the C7 at least. There's three of us on this thread alone. Make that 4. Mines a 2016 PE with 13k on the clock. Only had it a week from a franchised dealer and noticed a clonk from the front shocks. In with my local dealer and they've...

Re: James Bentley Motors
To be honest, a lot of the adverts that advertise mega specs end up not being that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk You're dead right there Lewy. I find it funny how so many dealer advertise cars as mega spec / huge spec / massive spec / best spec available etc, when usually none of that is true...

Re: James Bentley Motors
I fully understand. My main must have was rear view camera, dynamic and the assistance pack. The camera is easy to find but so few have the assistance. My only compromise on mine was lack of pan roof and the fact it was a 16 plate when I was ideally after a 17/67. Other than that it was for me, perfe...

Re: James Bentley Motors
Did you view it in the end? Forgot how lovely that car looked, though I'm more than happy with my panther black :) If so how did you find dealing with them? As I mentioned the only thing that put me off was the location being in the back streets of Birmingham, in itself not a valid reason but I am n...

Re: Sunroof
I wouldn't have minded a pan roof but I all honesty, unless your sitting in the back the difference is negligible. Just couldn't find a car with my must have spec (assisstance, park camera, dynamic) that also came with the roof.

Re: James Bentley Motors
Considered this car before buying mine though didn't see it in the flesh. May sound silly but a Google of their address put me off.
Does it have to be blue? Ash motors and Daniel myers both have a stunning example each for sale.

Re: Thoughts on this....
I looked at the Romans car before buying mine last week. It was a great spec, Just lacked the assistance pack which for me was a must. For anyone else still looking I've seen 2 others that have for me, perfect specs. A panther black for sale with Daniel myers and a nardo grey for sale with ash motors.

Re: “Inspection service” at 3 yrs
As an aside on this my 2016 has just had an oil and inspection service at 12.5k miles. Looking in the computer it is showing as 560 odd days till the next which seems a little long to me. Can I get this to show annual instead as I'm not a fan of 2 year service periods on a performance car.
