Hit 103k. Just nicely run in. [emoji41]

Just been on a 2300mile euro trip in it. Didn’t miss a beat.

Re: JamesBaby’s B7 RS4 Avant Daytona

So I recently updated the RNS-E with the later LED screen version. It does work and calculate routes much faster. I also got a genuine 2019 map disc. Then I also changed the I-Pod doc to the AMI module together with a Tune2Air Bluetooth module. Sound quality is better and I can now view track listin...

Cheers. Noticed today that it smelt rich as well. Think I'll replace the maf and take it from there. Emailed opie as they don't list it on their site .[/quote]

Re: Idling issue

If you had a vac leak unmetered air would be causing a lean condition resulting in positive fuel trims. You are opposite. Could be a gradually failing maf. For engine safety they can cause a rich running when they start to fail. Safer than a lean condition. Only other thing I can think is coolant te...

Re: Idling issue

Vacuum is highest at idle. Therefore when you dip the clutch it could be unmetered air getting in somewhere. Check your fuel trims in block 032 on engine measuring blocks. Also in the second engine ecu by going to module 11 first. See if there is a significant value in the idle readings. Make sure y...

Re: Vibration through the steering wheel

It will most likely be the spacers. Often folk buy the wrong ones. Also ensure you got the correct shaped bolts for the wheels.

If it’s still there after removing the spacers, I’d be looking at the propshaft.

Wanted ECS H-Pipe RS4 B7

Does anyone have an ECS H-Pipe they’re selling? [emoji4]

Mine is an avant but I don’t think that makes any difference.

Cheers.

Re: JamesBaby’s B7 RS4 Avant Daytona

As above. Doesn’t stiffen anything. Just makes it feel more solid and planted. 4 wheel alignment mandatory.

Re: JamesBaby’s B7 RS4 Avant Daytona

You can get it from various places but I got it from Cartech One. https://www.cartech-one.co.uk/en/product/447309-meyle-track-control-arm-kit-12-part-front/v-19490?itm_campaign=linked_by_search It comes with a 4 year guarantee and has reinforced components compared to OEM. It should last longer than...

Re: JamesBaby’s B7 RS4 Avant Daytona

Little update. The car continues along its refurb program. Car was fine but I built a collection of parts from various deals and offers. Full Meyle HD kit. Better than OEM grade components. Reinforced joints etc. Control arms and drop links. Front & Rear Anti roll bar bushes OEM. Front and rear drop...

Re: Attempted RS4 robbery

Sorry to hear this mate. Glad you’re ok. When you replace the glass use laminated glass units, not toughened. The latter breaks into million pieces for safety and it’s cheap. Laminated is like a front car windscreen. Takes a long time to get through it and screwdrivers or paving slabs won’t touch it...

Re: JamesBaby’s B7 RS4 Avant Daytona

No james, I foolishly sold it 4 years ago, I regret it the minute it left the drive. Tried growing up taking to a 3.0 Q5. It’s overrated growing old hence on the look for a mint B7. I know the feeling. Yours was mint I remember. Good times. The RS4 is the closest to it IMO and I’ve tried S3,RS3 and...
