Re: 2018 RS6 Performance help needed
Well the car is back from the biggest Audi dealership. Car engine and gearbox was not remapped. The dash had non original Audi parts. According to service manager some eBay Chinese electronic parts! So engine and tachometer not talking to each other. So new dashboard components fitted as gesture of ...

Re: 2018 RS6 Performance help needed
So a small update. Took it to Audi in the West of the Capital.Very impressed with level of Service and actual interest in my car unlike my local dealership. No sign of mapping on ECU on Engine or Gearbox. Spoke with technician and he thinks it's the Rev counter not working properly- not "communicati...

Re: 2018 RS6 Performance help needed
Thanks for all the responses. I've booked the car into a much bigger more (hopefully) reputable Audi dealership to see what is going on.

Re: 2018 RS6 Performance help needed
Thanks for responses. The weird thing is I paid the Audi service centre to delete any map on it and put it back to factory settings at my expense. Perhaps my local Audi dealership are out of their depth. I will take it to a larger Audi dealership who perhaps has better knowledge of RS cars and see ...

Re: 2018 RS6 Performance help needed
Thanks- yes I know what it's for and yes I have read the f***ing manual but there isn't much about it. So you're saying revving off the tachometer clock is normal. I always thought some red light LED's remained on as a rev limiter indication?

2018 RS6 Performance help needed
Hi gentlemen. I just purchased a 2018 Panther black RS6 Performance from a BMW dealer so no Audi warranty etc. The car has a Miltek exhaust, 22k miles. However....an interesting situation. When I start her up from cold only 3 LED lights appear on the tachometer, then when at temperature they all dis...

Re: C8 RS6 - what do you think it will do to C7 prices?
I agree with the comments above. I don't think the C7 will currently have a massive hit. It will depreciate but I think it will show a similar pattern to the B8 RS4. That car initially criticised for not having much torque yet now it's quite sought after as it has much more character compared to the...

Re: Is it normal to get clonking from steering when manoeuvring?
Yes this is normal- it's a common phenomenon.I get it on mine. Ackerman effect. Used to happen on a Porsche I owned too. Nothing to worry about.

Re: RS6 at Huddersfield Audi
Looks stunning mate. I really like the seat colour, and the paint colour is great. Interesting it's de-badged. Are you going to keep it like that? Thank you. I like it that it’s de-badged too- keeps it low profile. Looking stunning..... great choice... :beerchug: Thank you. I'm loving it.

As promised here she is. Still getting used to it but it's a stunning car. Comfortable, very fast when you want it to be and serves my purposes exactly!
