fitment is ok but the RS4 setup sits a bit lower than the standard S4 exhaust, also it wont fit in the gap at the back that the s4 exhaust used to sit in (the small cut out) I dont think it looks too bad on my car which is an avant, not sure if it would be any different on saloon. regarding gains, ...

Looking to get a complete RS4 downpipe+exhaust... on an otherwise completely stock S4.

What sort of gain can I expect? Is it a waste if I am not chipped, or no bigger turbo?

Alex, There are several posts about this on this forum. Try a search. Mounting points are the same. You don't need to mod the bumper to fit the exhaust if you mod the tailpipes.
