I have the same noise as stated in earlier in this topic. Only when my RS4 is started for the first time mornings. It's only a second or so but it not a good sound to hear..... So, after the oil was changed, was it better or did you have to replace chains or the variable valve timer/chains tensioner...

If this modification is possible on the B5 S4, I really don't know. On my old S4 there was a Porsche-system.

As said before Herr Linke von MTM will not put the chip in before Cat's en Downpipes have been mounted.

After replacing the air filter and the exhaust you don't feel any difference in power.

Therefore,
I don't smoke my friend's S4 yet.......................
