Re: At the detailer

Really like the colour of leather you chose. Nice to see something other than black for a change. Is that a normal spec option on the C8 or is that Audi Exclusive (so expensive!)?

I have a 67 plate PE and went the Audi dealer option. No drama and works a treat.

Re: Porsche Colchester

If you’re looking at used you need to nail your colours to the mast. They aren’t going to dish out half a dozen test drives on their used stock. Not the experience I had at Porsche Cambridge. A few years ago mind you. Called about a 996 C4S Cab but explained that I had never owned a Porsche before ...

Re: C8 RS6 Configurator

Pants! I tried the German configurator and kept getting errors with every option I selected. Let's hope they did a better job on the cars than they did on the website.

Re: Posting high value items to Europe

Yep, thought that would be the first response. Just don't have the time, but may have to. Anyway, there still has to be a way to post it insured. There has to be!

Posting high value items to Europe

Hi folks. I want to send an expensive watch to France. Value is £30k. All the usual suspects (UPS, DHL, Royal Mail, .... blah blah) won't do it. They either have £10k insurance value limit or will only send uninsured because it's a watch (or any jewellery for that matter) - so despite their sole exi...

Re: C8 RS6 finally revealed

And now in video. Sure it will grow on me but this isn't yet. And those wheels! And that awful wavy tailpiece over the exhausts. :assflash: Will look better in carbon I'm sure.

Re: Anyone Know This Car

Here you go - https://www.audi-mediacenter.com/en/photos/detail/audi-phone-box-42314 Nice problem to have mate. £60k will get you plenty of car. My advice would be to be patient. There are plenty of RS6s out there for sale and new ones come up almost daily. I bought mine (a PE) 7 months ago and as I...

Re: Dashcam install on rear tailgate anyone?

I have a Blackvue front and rear and it works like a charm. I didn't fit it however so can't actually help with your query but it clearly can be done no problem. I went off for a coffee when the guys fitted it. All done in an hour. Zero signs of the fitting. All trim etc when back on 100% as before.

Wheel bolt covers

Hi folks. Finally got around to getting the winter wheels off the car and am now back on the 21" performance wheels. Took me a while. Anyway, I noticed that I have lost a few of the black bolt covers. Looked on fleabay and found these. Is this what I am after? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/17mm-WHEEL-N...

Re: Question on options.

I could have sworn we were commenting on the options on a car that someone else was buying (a bit like this thread) and there was no interior carbon on that one. Maybe I am going mad.

Carbon interior is standard. Mirrors and front/rear splitters are optional.
I see. Guess the cars I have seen without interior carbon weren't Performance models then.

Re: Question on options.

Any carbon bits? Interior carbon is very popular. Looks rubbish without it in my view. And then there's the whole pan roof debate. Very polarising. Some folks (like me) wouldn't touch one without it, others wouldn't want one with it.
