They're not! The RS4 bearings are thinner because of the bigger bolts used on the RS4. Use the search, this has been discussed here before. Also I wouldn't use anything different than the stock bearing shells because the top once are extreemly strong sputter bearings.

I'm going to change my gearbox and diff oils maybe this week.... What oils do i need ? Anyone done it and can give me some tips ? Sorry, I meant 580hp but with bigger VTG turbos. Didn't know it could be pushed as far as 630hp.

I'm terribly sorry I didn't make myself clear earlier.

If you want to get more than 530hp out of a 997 reliably then you need wastgated turbos. That's all I meant. It's a known fact that the 996 engine is more reliable and suitable for big power numbers.
