Re: 10 days in.... couple of questions\issues......
I purchased mine with 5K miles, now 20K. The average when I purchased it was 19MPG and now its 20MPG. 30MPG is optimistic IMO, if I jump on a steady motorway or major A road run (fairly often) and I am forced to drive sedately then I will get 27MPG. I have a heavy foot and so regular A and B road dr...

Re: Brake Pads - RS6/7 Performance
Hi Lig, Cheers for the information. I have been quoted the same for the front and a little more for the rear. Including fitting its well over £800, which is almost £400 labour! Did you stick with OEM or choose an aftermarket brand? I cannot find anyone selling the OEM genuine Audi part other than a ...

Brake Pads - RS6/7 Performance
Hey All, I am looking for advice please. I have a 2017 RS7 Performance which requires new pads, front and back. Does anyone have the genuine OEM part numbers for these - the dealer prices are horrific and they refuse to give me the OEM part numbers! I think the front brakes on the car are Brembo and...

Re: Engine Oil
If on longlife servicing you need VW504.00 to go the distances between changes. Having to use that spec does limit your choice of oils, or type of oils. If you move to fixed service VW502.00 is a broad and quite basic spec, this opens up the doors to loads of choice such as the ester performance oi...

Engine Oil
What is the general consensus regarding engine oil and more specifically the service interval people adhere to? My car is still under 1 year old and the other day the ‘top up oil’ message on the display popped up for the first time. I consulted the manual and also the literature which came with the ...

Re: Stolen C7 RS7
I am sick to death of hearing about this type of stuff! Several blokes dressed like ninjas were caught on my CCTV recently, gloved and balaclavad up and the only skin visible was their eyes. They were not successful with their attempt thankfully. The Mrs was none too pleased and the police were poli...

Re: New Exhaust System
Thanks for the reply. Yeah I intend moving to a stage 2 tune which as i understand it means changing the downpipes and removing the cats. I assume there could be systems with race cats but my intention is to gain the performance from a stage 2 tune and gain the noise from the exhaust. I have a frien...

Re: New Exhaust System
So what is the general consensus for someone who wants a full system (rather than cat back) but would like to keep the car civilized whilst in comfort mode but obnoxiously loud whilst in dynamic? I moved from an RS5 to the RS7 Performance (with the optional sports exhaust) and whilst i appreciate i'...

Newbie
Hello All, Already posting in the wrong place but.... I have just purchased an almost new RS7 Performance and am looking for a bit of advice please. I am not new to RS models, far from it, they have been my daily driver for 15 years or more. I have never modified any of them though. 20 years ago, lo...
