RS4 B7 not starting - solved

Over the last month i've had the odd non start which had me doubting myself. A couple of weeks ago we had all sorts of lights and nearly got stranded a long way from home. Eventually got it started, drove straight home into my garage. After a lot of head scratching i decided to replace the larger RE...

Re: Clutch

I was quoted 10 hours labour plus parts.
Ended up doing it all myself, DMF, clutch, slave, uprated pipe, engine mounts & fluid change.
Amazing difference on a 13 year old car

Sealing Grease G052128A1 Alternative ?

Good evening, Currently replacing the clutch and flywheel etc. on my B7 and hit a snag. Reading a post on here there was a great recommendation for parts to replace behind the clutch lever. In the guide sleeve there is a seal and ETKA recommends the use of G052128A1 to fiill half of the void between...

Re: Wanting to change clutch fluid

Cheers 12th, when i first bought the car i did have occasional slow clutch return but that has gone away with proper usage. Unbolting exhaust is probably the best route. I've bought some ATE TYPE 200 fluid. Reading many posts, new clutch is probably inevitable but want to go fluid route first if i c...

Re: DRC failure-specialist recommendations required

I now have Shockerboy's KONI setup with H&R springs and love them. Also installed full Meyle HD front suspension arm kit, bump stops and top mounts. Probably about £1,000 all in. Ride is much firmer then 'MY' DRC was but its not harse. Service from Steve was spot on. Im very happy with this approac...

Re: Rust in roof rails. Price to respray roof. £1400?

I had small bubbling on passenger side near the back. Luckily managed to get it done under 12 year goodwill. They didn't take any glass out but did need to order a new rail insert so be prepared for costs creeping.
Would rechallenged the glass removal.

Re: DRC failure-specialist recommendations required

Feel your pain, mine went before Christmas.

Already have H&R springs and like the way it sits so obvious choice for me is going with Koni shocks from Shockerboy,
Just waiting on stock.

Good luck
