Re: HanKook Tyres extreme wear

Hmm that’s odd .. I got over 20k on my first set of Hankooks and have done over 15k on my second set .. tyre depth is currently 3.2 mm on the fronts and 5mm on the rears so will replace shortly as have my MOT in April. Sounds like your wear is VERY excessive!

Re: MY21/22 Update?

Thanks Guys .. I’m with you Avantgarde on the MMI change .. seems like a backwards step and hopefully one that Audi will reverse at some point!

MY21/22 Update?

Hi I'm just idly wondering whether to change my 2018 RS4 at some point over the next twelve months given that it will be 3+ years old and will have done 40-50K miles by the time i change. I know there was a minor facelift last year but does anyone have the inside track as to whether there'll be a fu...

Re: Moving the car without engine running

Am I missing something? Why not nudge forward or backward using the engine .. seems very convoluted to work around!

Apologies if I’ve missed something obvious

Re: RDC yes or not ??

I have DRC on mine and whilst I’ve never driven a non DRC I do feel that the implementation is very good and way better than on the B8 where the dynamic setting was too stiff and jumpy Dynamic on the B9 is pretty stiff and if the road surface is good the handling is sublime and cornering very flat. ...

Dings dents and detailing

My 2018 RS4 has been superb in all departments but it's picked up a few car park war wounds over the last couple of years and i'd like to have it restored to full sparkliness! There's probably half a dozen minor dings across various panels and one alloy has a minor bit of damage. The car has been cl...

RS4 Vorsprung

I was just pondering yesterday what to do next April when my RS4 is 3 years old and the PCP is up .. I could of course opt to buy and the car will have approx 36k miles on it by then and given that it's all running beautifully and is specced just as i like it well then that might be a good strategy....

Re: Are they as good as the reviews??

Another very contented owner here too! I've now done 2000 miles and other than the (occasional) slightly odd kick down behaviour (see Gremlins thread) i'm delighted. It's substantially quicker and more focused than my B8 and now that i've got some miles on the clock i'm beginning to enthusiastically...

Re: Hankook!

Had an 80 mile blast around the lanes and B roads of Hampshire today - all thoughts of crappy Hankooks now banished! Jeez this thing is indecently quick and super pointy too. Very pleased!

I have the Pirelli P Zero 275/30ZR20 (RO1) on my HRE's, very smooth ride so far. I've had Pirelli's on my GT-R as well - solid branch imo!
HRE?? Sorry if that's obvious!

Re: Hankook!

Lucky swine! Have just been googling tyres and it seems that the Sport Contact 6's come in two versions ... one has 'silent' tech apparently - do you know which version you have?

Hankook!

Picked up my new RS4 earlier this week and a couple of niggles - firstly it has Hankook tyres fitted which i find somewhat disappointing for a vehicle of this calibre - i would have expected a more recognised premium brand e.g. Michelin, Conti, Pirelli. Anyway i've barely had a chance to drive the c...
