Re: Intermittent fault on dash

Check your battery voltage. How old is the car battery? Has the car been standing & not run for sometime? Lower ambient temps also affect battery performance.

Wireless Phonebox - centre armrest

Does anyone have any prices for retrofitting the Wireless Charging/iPhone. There’s cheap options from China or one or two UK sources estimating @ £1000. Any help in sourcing a reasonable priced genuine parts supply/install appreciated. Scanned various forums/etc but limited info. Sent from my iPhone...

Re: 295 30 21 Tyres on a 10.5" rim

Point taken Mike.
Going wider just gives that additional
‘overlap’ to add a debatable amount of rim protection for ... The depth/side profile is what provides the accuracy of the speedo ... as long as the tyre isn’t ‘stretched’... in this case a 30 profile is best matched for the given 21” rim.

Re: 295 30 21 Tyres on a 10.5" rim

I run Michelin 295/30 on 10.5” rims....to provide more rim protection & also more accurate speedo readings.

Re: Rubber mats

Agree with Sasha. There are plenty of OEM choices out there. My top tip is try to get rubber mats with a decent raised edge to retain water. Some vendors clip the floor mat sets together with large pins (leaving a 3-5mm hole [emoji3061]) which makes the mats useless... ie water drains into the carpe...

Re: Newbie - Help needed RS6 2015

Possibly the exhaust flaps closing on the rear silencers.... car starts with them open on high idle tick-over. When the idle speed drops, the valve flaps close.

RS6 (C7) lowering nightmare

Thx Mike, thought so.
Believe Gepfeffert also do a hybrid add-on KW system which retains the factory DRC which fits the RS6 (HLS2 or 4).

Re: RS6 (C7) lowering nightmare

Gents, am I correct in that any CETE type
Module only works with factory air suspension fitted RS6 cars, it won’t work with cars with DRC. Appreciate any feedback.
Thx.

Happened to me whilst driving across Europe last year. Re: Rattling Miltek valves

Quote From an earlier post..... Not sure what valves APR use but milltek used valves with additional little spring under the valve (i suppose against rattling flap or give it some extra tension). But over time exhaust carbon fills up the cilinder with spring and therefor the OEM spring can't push th...

To be honest I can’t remember... was bundled with some other kit I purchased. Shop around on the net & use to negotiate.
I think they’re well worth it & gives some additional piece of mind....

Good Luck!

Also recommend fitting a “Ghost” whilst you’re at it...if the RS isn’t already kitted with one....

Re: Has anybody ever gotten to the bottom of this???

Gents, this is likely low battery voltage fault. It can happen with car sitting for sometime having not been driven ... eg several days, although the OEM battery on RS6 fitted is larger than normal (can’t recollect the Amp/Hr rating now). However If you have additional non OEM electric items fitted ...
