Re: Rough idling and driving - anyone experienced this?

Happened to me. One of the exhaust values was stuck shut due to electrical connector to the flap motor coming loose. My own fault as I'd disconnected them to keep the valves open at one point but got fed up with the drone.

Re: What to Buy 3.0tdi - S4 - RS4 ? ?

I had a an A5 3.0 TDI. Managed around 25 mpg and no diesel car is anywhere near on par with anything with an RS/AMG/M badge no matter what the diesel evangelists say about torque. If you’re a petrolhead avoid diesel at all costs. After my A5, my other diesel was a Ghibli 3.0 auto. I told myself that...

Re: Ordered one

Not sure you can compare the 5 to the 4 given the press reviews for the two cars, but time will tell. Supply and demand will influence the price and that can also be governed by outside factors such as consumer confidence. Mine was a 3.5% discount in the end, no trade in and Audi finance on a pcp. ...

Re: Ordered one

Not an RS4 but may be a decent rule of thumb in terms of the time-line. Picked up a brand new RS5. Pre-specc'd un-registered stock. Managed 19.2% discount overall on a fairly well-specc'd car. If the RS4 follows the same pattern then larger discounts should be available 6-7 months from launch date t...

Re: Extended LED pack

Thanks for that, think they are doing that now just get a bit confused because I have mine on the nice Blue most of the time and if you put it in to drive select the Blue disappears Shame [emoji52] nice to have that option though [emoji106] Yeah you can map the lights to Drive Select or have them c...

Re: New mod..what do you think ?

Looks weird. As if the LED design has been shoe-horned into a container in which they don't belong. Which isn't too far from the truth. Photo in Golfather's sig below, looks one hundred times better IMHO.

Re: Glasgow Audi - SHOCKING !!

I don't even bother with them now. Recently found a deal online for a Q3 Black Edition for the missus with a dealer in Exeter. Emailed Glasgow Audi, explained the deal and that I wanted to support my local dealer. If they could match it, I'd go with them. No response for 5 days at which point I get ...

Re: Dynamic Ride - is it worth it

I changed from an M6 and I do miss the adaptive dampers. Audi are having a bit of a laugh with some of the options considering what comes standard on rival cars (carbon roof for example). All the reviews lauding the ride quality are on cars with this specc’d. It’s definitely on the harsh side withou...

Re: Extended LED pack

What confuses me is when you unlock the car you get some nice long red LED's running across the top of the door but they go off after a few seconds! What is the point in that! They would look great if they came on when say in Dynamic mode. If you or your passenger open a door when there is a car co...
