Car Stolen

Unfortunately had my car stolen off the drive last night. REG: F10 RMG broken into the house took the keys and had away with it. Was visiting my parents in Doncaster South Yorkshire, so likley to be around there. Reported to police and insurance, long shot posting here but can’t hurt. Gutted, loved ...

Re: Wheels Swapped

I’d agree, I was supprised how much of a visual difference 1” made. Gotta say tho… the ride is a lot better on the 20s 🤦🏻‍♂️.

Wheels Swapped

I changed my wheels out due to a puncture… also my 21”s had a couple of buckles I needed to get sorted. I think I prefer the look of the 21s but the ride on the 20s with 35 profile is so much better. I think adding spacers to the 20s and perhaps making them lighter may make them look better. I’m not...

Michelin Shortage!

Well it’s impossible to find Michelin PS4s 285/30/21! Got a puncture over the weekend and not a single one to be found. Having to stick my second set on and put some summer 275/35/20s on. Found a full set of those for fitting today no issue. But 285…. Not a chance in hell! Also, huge price differenc...

Re: Steering Issue/Fault

Not sure if this helps much but I had this intermittently come on and off for about 3 months and it just went away. It is a covered apart as part of the Audi extended warranty. Which is £1,500 a year. You can buy it online and the car isn’t checked. Just a 30 day hold on no claims. So if you can mak...

Re: Roof Rails / Window Surrounds

Thank you, this is great info. That’s what I was debating… how much of a difference. Sprayer was gonna take them off to do them. But I felt a wrap could be more durable. Given both wrap and spray would need refreshing in time.. I think I’m leaning toward wrap. Think I’ll get a few quotes.. Kudos for...

Have you thought of buying a temporary spare wheel? They can be bought for about £100 and they drop right into the boot. Saves you (1) waiting for the rescue service and (2) being stung for a £460 tyre.
Great idea and tbh I hadn’t thought of it. Deff worth investing in…… cheers!

Roof Rails / Window Surrounds

Question for all those owners who have changed the colour of their roof rails and window surrounds. Mine are sprayed black. A few chips has started to appear here and there. So I was going to get them resprayed, but I wondered if wrapping was more durable? I’m going to start using a roof box and rai...

Re: Has anyone had any luck sourcing Micheline PS4s?

Well scratch that….. clipped a curb last night and popped the sidewall on one. Car stranded and mobile fitter bringing one out.. £385+VAT.

Think those savings I made have just evaporated 🤣

Re: Has anyone had any luck sourcing Micheline PS4s?

I managed to get them from Kwik Fit in December. They were £313 a corner but they had 20% off so worked out at £250.

Best deal I could find at the time

Re: DRC refill

After visit at Audi they said it’s normal) so don’t know what to do, but the sound still there not always but sometimes. Audi said that they checked and no damaged parts) sometimes I am wondering maybe I am too paranoid or I should not trust Audi center and visit another, do they even know what to ...

Re: DRC refill

Had mine done under warranty. As mentioned it’s a diagonally linked system with 2 valve assemblies at the rear and these can get damaged when pressure is lost. I had knocking from the front right and rear left. Dealer refilled and pressurised (over 20+ bar) and has been OK since, so I may have been...

Re: All the warning lights!?!?!

It solved itself after a few days. Got a code reader and ended up not having to use it. Sorry haven’t been on the forum for a while!

Sounds like the usual symptoms of the battery failing.

Good luck
Thank you! Hopefully that’s it. So replace battery, clear the codes then should be sorted?

All the warning lights!?!?!

Just been having a drive round town and out of nowhere got loads of warnings all at the same time. - Parking brake! - Sport differential: system fault - Start-stop system: system fault! Function unavailable - Stabilisation control (ESC/ABS): fault! See owner's manual - Parking brake auto release: no...
